A little bit about Grace

Grace Christiansen is a 23 year old solo singer-songwriter from Hull, UK.

Grace has been writing music since she was 12, teaching herself how to play and write music in her bedroom. Her style is a unique fusion of folk, pop and country, finding influences in the mellow tones of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Rose and Eva Cassidy.

Grace independently released her first album ‘Three Corners’ in 2014, including some of the first ever songs she had written. Three Corners is a 7 track album and is a really stripped back sound with piano, acoustic guitar and sweet harmonies.

Her latest release ‘Changes’ is a 5 track EP including two new songs recorded at Studio 94 Hull. You can hear the slight change in direction and maturity of Grace’s music with every release.

Grace has performed live on BBC Introducing and has had tracks from both albums played on air. Music has also had streams on radio stations accross the UK.

Grace has supported The Dunwells, Emma King, Jack Lukeman, Carrie Martin and Katie Spencer. Festivals include Humber Street Sesh, Edinburgh Fringe, Freedom Festival, SHE Fest, Tribfest and Beverley Folk Festival.
